About REN
Rehnuma e Niswaan (REN), meaning “Guide for Women,” is a registered NGO established in 2000-01 with a vision to uplift vulnerable communities.
Founded by Ms. Tabassum Siddiqua, the organization was driven by a deep commitment to improving the socio-economic, educational, and health conditions of women.
REN began by offering educational and vocational training programs to help women achieve financial independence and self-reliance.
Over time, the organization expanded its focus to address the critical need for quality education among underprivileged primary and secondary school students.
Through innovative and participative learning methods, REN empowers students with knowledge, life skills, and leadership qualities.
With outreach across 54 schools in West Bengal, REN has positively impacted over 16,000 students, fostering confident and responsible individuals.
